He's the only drummer listed below, so unless one of those comedians knows how to play, I assume he'll be bashing out each song.

It looks like they're still on sale as of now. Click on the link above.

Also, after a little bit of research it appears that Bill Burr knows his way around a drum kit. There is a clip on Youtube of him playing For Your Life at some Bonzo tribute thing. Not a total disaster.

If Angus chooses to keep the band going or start a new band I think Tuesday night Gorman proved himself to be a top candidate. Sure the music is so basic that a caveman could do the job, but Steve's got something special. It was pretty awesome to see him smashing out tunes like Rock n Roll Damnation and Night Prowler. It had been way too long since the last time I saw him play.

As for the rest of the musicians, they were all up for it. Josh Zee on guitar was a standout, doing an excellent job channeling Angus. Rudy Sarzo amd Nikki Sixx were their rocking 80s selves. The comedians didn't totally fuck up the music part. Dean Delray sang all of the songs capably, marc Maron threw in some good guitar, and Bill Burr (obviously no Gorman) held down the beat on a couple tunes. He got lost at one point when they did Motley Crue's Live Wire, but he laughed it off and recovered. Good thing he's got the comedy gig to fall back on.

The comedy was great but didn't have anything to do with Bon Scott really. Maron was the only one to actually claim to have seen Bon Scott perform live but admitted that he only attended that show because of Journey, who were the top billed act. Bill Burr was the funniest to me. The other guys were great.

Finally, if you're an Eagles Of Death Metal fan, don't bother going to shows in order to see Jessie Hughes if he's advertised as a guest performer. This was the third gig this year where he was a no show or didn't perform for some reason. Putting aside his stance on gun issues, I like him and think he's a talented performer with good stage presence. He's flakey for showing up on school nights is all.

All in all it was a fun show and it was great to see Gorman.

Great review.. you covered it pretty much. Awesome show! It was so fun and so good to see Steve playing some rock n' roll again! I didn't know all the players beforehand but they did a really good job for just a few rehearsals.

They should definitely do this again!
